I was raised in Penna and still live about 1/2 hour from where I was born. I have always loved children and wanted to be a teacher or a children's book author/illustrator. Maybe the later now. I'm also thinking about cross stitch design. I love photography and photo editing-esp lots of nature shots. This blog banner and profile photo were designed by me using PSP7.

Isn't this adorable? It's a tiny, itsie bitsie, petit point on top of a black vintage sewing box. All 3" x 2" of it. I am trying to get a little vintage sewing collection going because I have my grandmom's Martha Washington sewing cabinet.

Dianne, that is absolutely gorgeous! I'd love to see your antique cabinet too. I have some antique sewing notions from an auction, and I have my grandma's button jar and a few of her other oldies. I rescued a frame of hers I used for one of my stitched pieces, and it gets s lot of comments.
This little petit point was a treasure though! Congratulations on a real find!
