I was raised in Penna and still live about 1/2 hour from where I was born. I have always loved children and wanted to be a teacher or a children's book author/illustrator. Maybe the later now. I'm also thinking about cross stitch design. I love photography and photo editing-esp lots of nature shots. This blog banner and profile photo were designed by me using PSP7.

Flowers 3rd week July
I got out the seed packs so I could name these all for you-You are looking at Giant Canary Bird yellow zinnia and Giant Scarlet Flame zinnia. The SF seems to be doing the best. Monarch on Cosmic orange cosmos
Not sure if these are the Giant Lavender Gem or the Giant Violet Queen-what do you think? Envy (lime green) of the Barbaro bed (only a few came up)
I love Envy zinnias. I've been growing them since I was a child. I get great germination from seed, but then something always comes along and eats the seedlings so I end up every year with only a few plants!
Your flowers are lovely and the pic with the butterfly is beautiful, well captured. Hope your Uncle is still doing OK :-) P.S. I put a posting on the neighbourhood RR saying you can mail Barbaras to Mum (Veronica) but can she have it by 4th Aug please if poss? Thanks xx

They all look lovely to me, Dianne! I really need to get in gear next year and plant lots of annual seeds for all the color they give!

Those are just beautiful. You have such good luck with seeds. I think I planted 12 packages and have only a handful of things that actually survived.
