Goodies in the mail

My 'coz' Nancy completely surprised me today with a package. It's not my birthday or anything. : ) She said giving makes her feel better and that I should know that (I love to send things in the mail). The Boyd bear is precious and will sit on my little sofa in the living room. I love the floss as I don't own a lot of overdyes because of my charity stitching (you can't wash them). The Garden doodle chart is so me! And the needle keeper-the pretty blue and white piece with the flowers is something I've seen in catalogs but never bought for myself. I never have seen a cross stitch gauge like that-awesome!
I needed a boost today because Bri got his bloodwork results in the mail and I didn't. I hope they come tomorrow. If not, I have to call and find out what's up. If there was something high I am sure they would have flagged my paperwork. Bri is okay, his triglyerides are high like last year. He takes fish oil almost daily and that brought it under 300 last year. Wish he could get it under 200.
I have lots to do outside, but I sat and watched a requested rental movie, 'The 40 yr old Virgin'. I like Steve Carell from 'The Office' and 'The Daily Show'. What was I thinking!!?? It's not a mother/son kinda movie and I was embarassed more than a few times. Sean had seen it in the theatre. Why did he rent this for me? Because I asked. It was funny too, but the 'f' bomb dropped at least 100 times. I should know better!
My mom had a tendon problem in the palm of her right hand. She went to a specialist today. I was suppose to go and she said it was only a consultation. She called later and said she had a needle put in her hand to numb it and she wasn't suppose to use her hand for a few days. I feel terrible now. Hopefully that will help her.

I hope your mom's hand is okay, and that you get your bloodwork results in. Niek and I need to get our cholesterol tested, too. We keep putting it off...

I can well imagine how much fun it was receiving that parcel and seeing everything that was in it!! Love surprises like that:-) Hope you get your blood results soon...I know what a worry it is waiting for the darn results to come in!! Your mom probably didn't want you to worry needlessly and that's why she told you not to come too...hope her hand feels better soon!

Lovely, lovely goodies. Hope your bloodwork is OK, I hate always having to go and get mine done and then the wait.
